Firefox and Wikipedia on the iPhone

I just added two new reviews to my iPhone page: Firefox Home, which is under Productivity, and Articles, which is under Reference.

iPhone apps for summer sports

I’ve recently downloaded two new iPhone apps, the Daily Telegraph’s World Cup 2010 app and the official Wimbledon 2010 iPhone app [iTunes Store]. I don’t want to put either of them on the iPhone page because they’re only really any good for this summer, so I’m going to give them a quick mention here instead. Neither app is brilliant, but both do the job adequately and are worth a look for any fans of soccer or tennis respectively.

Games on the iPhone

Today I spent some time finishing the iPhone page by including reviews of the games I have on my phone, so there are now more reviews on the page. I’ve also included reviews of a couple of new apps I’ve been finding useful recently, including an app for reading comics and an app for remotely accessing computers. Head on over and check it out!

Reworking the iPhone page

I’ve decided to rework the iPhone page by removing the separate page for games and useless apps and merging it into the main page. I’ve also recategorised the apps I’ve reviewed into their App Store categories, as opposed to my own categories, for ease of use.

At the moment I’m toying with the idea of removing the Games Workshop page. There isn’t a whole lot of content on it, and I can’t think of anything else I particularly want to say. It’s not even like I can put army lists up, since GW are quite reluctant to allow people to post points costs online. As a result, I’m not sure there’s much I can put on there that would be of much interest to anyone. We’ll see.

I Ching calculator

It is with a heavy heart that I find myself announcing the death of the I Ching Calculator, which doesn’t really have a home on my new and shiny redesigned website. However, since I still host a copy of my old website, a copy of the I Ching Calculator can still be found lurking there.

New website

This is the first post I’m making from my new website, and I’m very excited about it! Eventually this blog will be used for reviews of iPhone apps and news about the website’s updates, but for now this is just a placeholder.

Welcome to Chickens in Envelopes!

This blog is a less personal blog than my LiveJournal, and is even more sporadically updated.
